Where I’ve been

At Audible I had the pleasure to lead a particularly rebellious creative team responsible for continually evolving the relationship Audible has with consumers. Since Audible did not employ a traditional marketing structure, the Creative group also functioned as brand marketing — leading development of brand strategy as well as managing partner agencies like McGarryBowen, 72andSunny, and other boutique partners.

I initially joined Digitas to work across multiple accounts (GMC, eBay, Amex, Comcast), but I quickly pivoted to lead their largest account Comcast/XFINITY.

My time on Verizon and Optimum led me to EP+Co where I brought a more data and insight-driven approach to their client, Verizon Business. After a year, a management shift at Verizon brought roster agency contraction and EP losing the business to its larger sister, McCann. While my tenure was short-lived, EP+Co has a great culture and I can’t recommend them enough.

I left McGarryBowen to lead GNP’s work for Optimum, AssuredGuaranty, and re-launch children’s clothing brand, Garanimals (so much fun). With a stronger data and insight-driven approach to creative, we were able to increase Optimum’s spend by 25% in the first year, produce Garanimals’ first, full-funnel campaign in over 40 years, and create a TV campaign for AssuredGuaranty that continued to run long after I left the agency. I still see it today on CNBC and CNN International.

The pull of New York led me from Deutsch/LA to McGarry where I worked across all Marriott brands, Chase, JPMorgan, and Verizon. While I was there, MGB won Agency of the Year twice. Though I would move on, being in New York at MGB and working on those brands felt like a true Mad Men career moment.
